Yo

After school today we both started walking home. We got to the local park which we walk through on the path to the local shops on the main road. As we were walking along the path the sky went very dark & it started to rain which got harder. I could feel it coming through my blazer shoulders & down my back soaking into my shirt. I looked at Alex & his blazer was going well shiny & wet. He ginned back at me. Our hair was dripping down our faces & necks. It started to get heavier & far off we could hear thunder noise. Puddles were starting to form on the path but we just carried on walking. We weren't walking fast, but I noticed Alex had slowed. As he got behind me I turned to walk backwards asking him what he was doing. Suddenly he kicked this puddle at me which sprayed the front of my trousers blazer & shirt with splatters on muddy water. The front of his trousers & airforce trainers looked shiny & wet. I swore at him but laughed.He caught up to me & shoved me asking if I wanted an adventure. I smiled asking doing what. He pointed at the field that we sometimes crossed. Lets go across there & up the hill. I said OK but our socks & trainers will get soaking. He pulled his black skinny trouser leg up showing a soaked white sock. Mine already are Harry he said. I shrugged Ok Alex my parents aren't back till gone six so I don't care. He set off across the grass waving me to follow. Within about 2 minutes I could feel my socks squelching & looked at my airforce. They were shiny wet & bubbles kept coming out of the front holes above my toes. I shouted Yo Alex & pointed at my trainers as I squished my toes & bubbles appeared. He stopped & pulled his feet out of his airforce. He stood in his socks & poured his trainers out. I laughed but said we gotta wear these tomorrow like this. He shrugged & put his feet back in as bubbles came out of the holes.
We got to the bottom of the hill & there was a bit more water standing under the grass. He set off straight through it & waved me to follow. It was dirty brown water & as it filled my trainer I thought of my new adidas white socks. I said Alex my socks will be mashed. He looked at me smiling saying do I actually look like I care Harry. I looked down at myself & everything was saturated & shiny as was Alex too. When we got to the top he stopped looking at a dirty dog walking path on an incline. Not a proper path just where the grass had worn. He pulled his trainers off & stood in his socks grinning. I said what are you doing. He laughed gonna knee slide. He turned & set off running on the dirt path in his socks. Then he dropped to his knees & slid along. AS he came to a stop he rolled forward so he was laying flat. He layed there for a few seconds & then stood up. The complete from of his trousers were slimy brown & sticking to his legs. His socks were pretty mashed. The front of his shirt tie & blazer were slimy too but he was well made up with the mess. He waved at me saying come on softy. Question is did I & what else happened on the way back. We love it when it rains bad.
